The Royal Free hospital in London required a new chiller cold room for the pharmaceutical department.
Due to the critical nature of the product the cold room had two independent refrigeration systems installed each with the capability to run the room on its own. The digital control panel was designed with auto-changeover between the systems on a weekly basis, man trap alarm and a volt free contact so that the panel could link up with the hospitals monitoring system. The remote refrigeration system had a challenging pipe run of over 40m through the hospital corridors but Price Cooling Services carried out the complete installation over 3 nights.
