Price Cooling Services were asked from the very initial stages to help design and install a large chiller and freezer cold room for a pharmaceutical company in the South of England.
The chiller cold room was 14.5m x 10.5m x 6.15m high and included an automated fork lift access sliding door and a lockable hinged personnel door. The room had 2 independent refrigeration systems which switch over every 7 days unless a temperature fault occurs where it would then switch over automatically. Each system covers 100% duty of the room so there would be no down time in the future should any issues occur. The freezer cold room also had 2 independent systems and included an insulated floor with a heater mat along with a pallet access hinged door. The outside condensing units for the refrigeration were installed in their own plant compound with fencing around for security
